Insurance & Funding

For South Carolina Residents ABA coverage is mandated by law.

Steps to getting started:

  • Your child must have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or be “at risk” and in the process of obtaining a diagnosis confirmed by a written report from a physician, psychiatrist, neurologist or psychologist.
  • The diagnostic report is submitted to your insurance company and authorization is requested for a comprehensive Assessment Authorization.
  • Once the Assessment authorization is received, our highly trained Board Certified Behavior Analysts® (BCBAs) conduct the assessment through direct observation of your child as well as interviews with parents and teacher and questionnaires.
  • When an Assessment is completed and submitted to the insurance provider, an authorization is sent generally within about two-four weeks.
  • We will be here to help during the approval process. If you have any further questions about insurance coverage of our services, please feel free to contact us.
